The goodness of KitschnBake


This eaterie is a delight: a warm and genuine home for gorgeous baking and tasty savoury delights. I was already conversant with the sweet offerings from the owner as she used to provide cakes and the like to another wee place we frequent. It’s so lovely to see the business able to open their own establishment. Situated in the ever-so pretty Newport, the cafe looks out over the Tay and KitschnBake’s FB posts often feature snaps of the river alongside the daily cakes and scones seeing the pics first thing of a morning really add a sweetness to your news feed.
Once inside the decor is as honest and comforting as the food: one or two up-cycled cabinets, their innards brightened with the pink and gilt of vintage china.
