Red Wolves

Red Wolves is about the effects of depression and how it can make you feel. No matter where you turn, you are faced with fear.

The fairytale,by charles Perrault ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ and it’s many re-interpretations, (Anglela Carter, Carol Ann Duffy,) is a tale I have used as inspiration for The Girl who had a Tail. This piece was made when I started to look at the wolf, with it’s many symbolisms and associations, as a result of my interest in this tale.

When placed in the context of the show, the piece, drawn in a fresh blood red, takes on new life and meaning as it becomes in itself, a character, with it’s own unique part to play.
